I took my car (2022 RAV6Hybrid- all maintenance done in dealership) to get saftied in Ontario as I moved from Quebec – and Scott @Scott Diesel told me a ball joint was “missing” and i had to replace it, so on top of the 338$ Plus tax i was charged, I had to pay for a non-Totyota ball joint plus repair… for a total of $860.
I took my car to the dealership and i asjed them how come they didnt notice a ball joint was missing and they said it was impossible that it was missing and thay the other 3 are not even worn or damaged and that it was not possible they missed it.
This is a HUGE scam for customers– as if I would wanted to take my car to the dealership for a second opinion I would have to pay another safety fee, screwed over one way or another… PAY PAY PAY/….
they got you, always greed and money… no matter what… safety fee, mechanics scams… you name it… sad situation on true ethics and morale in people. instead of keeping it honest
