  1. Called them at 3 on a Monday, had my car back by 6 same day. Explained everything well, very friendly.

  2. Called around and found someone who quoted me less than half the price for the same work, and when I brought the car in they said that one of the items wasn’t necessary. Gary’s is friendly and convenient, but apparently expensive.

  3. These guys are very friendly, but I don’t entirely trust them. They told me, amongst other things, that I should change my timing belt, but it had just been changed about 6 months ago. After talking to my regular mechanic about them, he seemed to think this type of charge is typical. I don’t want to say anything too strongly, because I don’t know that much about it all, but let’s just say I wouldn’t go back, given their questionable morals. I was also told by one mechanic that if I sold my car not to tell the buyer what was wrong with it if I wasn’t going to have it fixed. Hmm…

    It’s hard to give ratings, as I’m not sure what is real with them, besides their surface friendliness and quick turnaround. Their price may be good for the work they do, but they may be overcharging me. Or, their knowledge is questionable if they are telling me to do work I don’t need done.

  4. Contacted several days in advance of tire change – 21″ rims with low profile. Assured that the change would be no problem. Estimated 2 hours (and $200!).

    What they didn’t tell me was that they actually didn’t even have the capability to remove and mount the tires. They subcontracted to another garage. After being given several incorrect estimates, what was supposed to take 2 hours took 6.

    When I got my car back they hadn’t bothered to take out the plastic laid on the seat.

    They seemed well-meaning, and were apologetic about the delays, but this all could have been avoided if they were up front about their limited capabilities. It was an amateurish and unfortunate experience. I will not be back.

  5. The worst service I have ever get in 20 years, they either on purpose ‘create’ new issue during repairing another problem or don’t know how to work at all, I had visited the store twice, every time I picked up my car, I found new problem immediately or old problem much worse, the worst part is they denied they did anything wrong, give no reasonable explanation and just ask you change another new parts. Do not know other branches, but bank branch is not good at all.
