  1. Overpriced and uninformative. Brought our SUV in for a safety it passed the e-test even thought there is a hole in muffler.Priced a broken tail light for 171 and 30 to install it..just one example. Overpriced and when we went to pick it up three guys were just standing there laughing with some guy I waited for 10 mins for someone to ask can i help you which they never did I went up and asked so unfriendly and knowledge why did it pass e test when there is a hole in muffler?

  2. Hi Mike,

We keep old estimates saved in our system to use for future references. We just wanted to clarify that the estimate provided (along with the numerous other safety issues) had the tail light assembly price listed at $116.18.

As far as your emissions test goes, we are not the company that conducts the testing. It is in the same building but a different company all together. The new e-test system that was introduced last year involves equipment that is plugged directly into your vehicle’s diagnostic system in order to check for any fault codes that may effect emissions output. The old emissions test procedure of measuring exhaust gases from the tail pipe is no longer valid. It may have been in your case that the e-test technician did not hear the exhaust leak because the vehicle does not even have to be running during testing. If there were no fault codes stored, the vehicle would still pass without any issues.

If you have any other questions or concerns, you can contact us at 613-831-6442.

    Thanks
